Sean launched The Sioux Chef, a team of Anishinaabe, Mdewakanton Dakota, Navajo, Northern Cheyenne, Oglala Lakota, Wahpeton-Sisseton Dakota, and more, who are committed to revitalizing Native American Cuisine. At his restaurant Owamni in Minneapolis, the indigenous menu is free from colonial ingredients, meaning that nothing that was brought by European settlers is used in any of their dishes.
